Lights

Tonight we put up the Christmas tree and all the other decorations. Finally. We tried to stick with "classy ornaments" that would "reflect light well" this year. No more first grade art projects or polymer clay snowmen, but it looks good nonetheless.

All of our fancy-pants globe ornaments, excluding 2005. According to a note taped to the lid of the box, it was lost in a short shattering in 2010.

Nevertheless the garland survives another year.

Featuring the man who was born to sing Christmas music, Mr. Michael Bublé.

And the man in red.

Mom loves Pottery Barn. What can I say?

Around the back of it.

And perched inside.

Tomorrow starts the official party season for me. Lots of excitement but I still have to wrap my secret Santa gift and make a card and find the Chex Mix I was supposed to bring.
Lots to do.

Oh, and, because it's December, and I've actively participated in Blog Every Day of December for exactly one year (on a different site, of course), I'll be making daily updates (hopefully) as I survive the midterm-rush and the hard partying I'll surely do between homework assignments.

Feel free to stay tuned,
Riley
