Just in Time Friday

No kidding. If Friday had gotten here any slower , I might would have lost my marbles. It's been a good week, albeit long, but I was so ready for the weekend: sleeping in, working out, and catching up on (dare I say it?) homework. Dun dun duuuuuunnnnn.

In the meantime, though, tonight was for downtime. So, we went to my city's favorite Mexican restaurant (the place people miss when they move away) and to the theatre to see The Odd Life of Timothy Green, which was, indeed, very sappy (oh, the irony), but I really liked it. Maybe it was just the (spoiler alert) abundance of ridiculously adorable sweaters, though.

But before that, to the bookstore, where- thanks to a giftcard, two coupons, and a membership discount-  $84 plus tax worth of books ended up costing me $15. Pilgrimage by Annie Leibovitz (which I actually got to see in D.C. a few months ago), Camera by Todd Gustavson (to feed my vintage camera habit [to be discussed later]), and a new prose notebook entered my library today.

I've been in the mood for filling up prose notebooks, lately. It might have something to do with fall lurking on the horizon. Hmmm....

I also got to be a little fashion-forward with my new high-heel kick.
It's really very nice being almost normal height. Very enjoyable.

It was a really nice evening off. Things are bound to get even busier soon, so I must needs relish it while I can. Maybe I'll even get around to some crafting tomorrow.

Hope you all had a good week.
TGIF.
